PiPP Assessment: Protecting What Matters Most

Instructions:
This 26-question assessment is designed to help you determine what you need to protect above all else in order to move closer to your vision.

Each question presents a statement related to the four PiPP pillars: People, Impact, Process, and Profit. Consider what must be safeguarded to ensure your vision is realized.

Ask yourself: What are my dealbreakers? What will prevent me from accomplishing my vision if I do not protect it?

Your vision is your clear, future-focused picture of what you’re building in your business/career and life—and why it matters to you. Try using the format "In __ years, I will __ so I can __."

For example:
In 5 years, I will automate my business operations so I can travel full-time with my partner
or In 6 years, I will open a community-centered wellness space so I can create healing opportunities in underserved neighborhoods.
As you answer the questions below. Think about your vision and think — "If I do not protect this I cannot achieve my vision".
1. To what extent do you believe that in order to achieve your vision, prioritizing relationships is more important than maintaining financial stability, operational efficiency, or broader industry influence?
2. To what extent do you believe that maintaining strong relationships with employees, customers, partners, and your community is critical to achieving your vision
3. To what extent do you believe that prioritizing people (employees, customers, and key relationships) over making a broader social, environmental, or industry impact is essential to achieving your vision?
4. To what extent do you believe that prioritizing relationships over financial health or revenue growth is essential to achieving your vision?
5. Prioritizing people over your approach, efficiency or workflow is essential to achieving your vision?
6. If strategic business decisions strained key relationships, you would have to prioritize relationships over professional needs in order to achieve your vision.
7. Protecting relationships is the most fulfilling aspect of pursuing my vision, even when it requires making difficult decisions?
8. I must protect my ability to make a meaningful impact (in the world, my industry or similar) above all else in order to stay aligned with my vision.
9. Driving meaningful change in your industry, community, or external environment is more important than maintaining strong personal and professional relationships in order to achieve your vision?
10. To fulfill my broader purpose, safeguarding my contribution above all else is essential.
11. To achieve my vision, I must prioritize making a lasting impact in my industry, community, and/or the world even at the expense of financial stability or security.
12. I ensure that my actions create meaningful change, even when faced with conflicting priorities.
